A new Jar and Farm launched this week, our first foray into Convex Finance . The Jar takes the $CVX-ETH SLP pair from Sushiswap and helps you to automatically build that position over time, auto-compounding all rewards on your behalf.
At the time of writing you can get up to 180% APY with a fully boosted Farm position (via DILL holdings).
Alchemix-it-up
This week users enjoyed double $ALCX rewards on the ALCX-ETH Jar, which sadly come to an end on Wednesday of this week. The APY will still be epic on ‘normal’ rewards so we expect this to continue being one of our most popular Jars.
The updated alUSD3CRV symbiotic Jar is planned for launch this week, incorporating those tasty $CVX rewards over on Convex Finance. The $CVX and $CRV rewards will be re-invested as $ALCX before it gets staked in the ALCX pool automatically, also earning extra APY there. This is the first symbiotic Pickle Jar but we are already exploring potential for other applications (see below).
We’re also keeping a close eye on the newly launched alETH to assess its potential for a similar Jar strategy in future.
Symbiotic Liquity
The symbiotic Jar strategy that we developed for Alchemix is already being put to work through development of a new strategy focused on Liquity. This strategy will compound $ETH and $LUSD rewards on behalf of $LQTY stakers, real time based on usage. This Jar will head into beta testing this week.
PolySoon
No, really … soon! Almost everything in preparation for Pickle’s launch onto Polygon is complete — nine Jars and the updated Pickle UI successfully passed beta testing (thanks to those who helped!).
However, there is one last step — which is setting up the Pickle emissions over on the Matic network. We’re in daily discussion with Polygon’s team to get this last step out of the way so the launch button can be pushed.
The apes in the community are particularly eager for the IRON-USDC vault which currently has an eye watering ~600% APR (should compound nicely into a 30k+% APY … )
Fresh Pickle
The new Pickle Finance landing page design and copy is complete, coding is underway.
Focus is now on the app wireframes and design, which are coming along nicely. We’re also working with the Zapper team to fully integrate Zapper Zaps for every Jar upon launch of the new site.
